The Bear and the Curse
Mar. 31st, 2020 09:21 pmWho: Ursaems, the Deva, and YOU
What: After the initial surprise return of Ursaems, the Wakened had subdued the Deva of Entropy and sealed him in the remains of the prison. It seems after a month, he's ready to talk...
When: April 1-5
Where: Prison Place
Warnings: Evil dude who did evil things
Notes: This log handwaves the battle from when Ursaems reappeared. His player (Val) had a family emergency from February through March. Since so much time had passed, we decided that this was the best place to pick up from.
( So. Are you ready to talk and tell us what the hell you're doing back here?</cut> Time passes differently within the prison that the Wakened had conjured up. Was this the original one? Or perhaps a new one that they had willed into existence? It hardly mattered. Ursaems gazed up to the sliver of light up above. There were stairs that led up to the door where the light filtered through but it only allowed visitors to go down. It would not allow him to ascend those stairs until he was released. A thousand years passed in that time. For him at least. The Deva sat in his chair in human form, glass-like patterns appearing in patches on his body like clear and violet crystals. The curse upon him had been slowed by the slower passage of time but it was no less painful. He could feel its influence beneath his skin...like a phantom that he could not shake. The door above slowly opens, blinding the Deva for a moment. He hadn't seen the Light in so long. And there stood Areva. That red headed fireball of a woman giving him a condescending look. <font color= )
